Holiday brussels sprouts

A very unique salad that combines the freshness of the brussels sprouts, crunchy and sweet candied walnuts, tangy dried cranberries and a mustard dressing.

  • 2 cups brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup candied walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard


  • Gather your ingredients.
    All ingredients displayed on a table
  • Wash the brussels sprouts and finely shred them; place in a mixing bowl and set aside.
    2 cups brussels sprouts

  • Roughly chop the candied walnuts and toss with the brussels sprouts; add the cranberries; mix to combine.
    1/4 cup candied walnuts, 1/4 cup dried cranberries
    All the ingredient ready to be dressed
  • In a mason jar add the mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt pepper and oil; close the lid and shake to emulsify; toss with the salad and serve.
