Tangy lamb sauce

This sauce will satisfy the goat cheese lover. It incorporates fresh lemon juice with goat cheese for a tangy flavor that complements my slowly braised lamb stew. Great on flatbread or panini as well!

  • 4 oz goat cheese fresh
  • 3 oz sour cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 mint sprig fresh
  • 3 parsley sprigs fresh
  • 2 cilantro sprigs fresh
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Gather your ingredients.
    All the ingredients gathered on a plate.
  • In a bowl, combine the sour cream and goat cheese.
    4 oz goat cheese, 3 oz sour cream
    The cheese and the sour cream combined.
  • Zest the lemon and the juice it; place in the bowl; chop the garlic and herbs.
    2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 2 garlic cloves, 1 mint sprig, 3 parsley sprigs, 2 cilantro sprigs
    The other ingredients chopped/juiced.
  • Place all the ingredients into the bowl; add salt and pepper and mix to combine.
