
Gorgonzola, mascarpone and pear tarte

- cutting board
- cookie sheet x 2 (or a large one)
- parchment paper
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry sheets thawed out
- 3 pears thinly sliced, lenghtwise
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 6 oz gorgonzola cheese
- 4 tbsp honey for drizzling
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp flour for dusting
- 1/4 cup walnuts halved
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.

- Remove the puff pastry sheets from the freezer and thaw out overnight in the fridge or on the counter for a few hours. Preheat the oven at 400 degrees and on a baking mat open the puff pastry, dust the baking mat with flour and roll the dough thin.2 puff pastry sheets, 2 tbsp flour

- Place the pastry on the baking sheets layered with parchment paper; using a sharp knife, slice half of each pear in half and then slice them lengthwise.3 pears

- Top the pastry with dollops of the cheeses; then gently lay the pear slices as like the photo. Scatter the walnuts and sprinkle some thyme, drizzle some honey.8 oz mascarpone cheese, 6 oz gorgonzola cheese, 4 tbsp honey, 1/4 cup walnuts, 1 tsp thyme

- Place in the oven and cook for about 15 minutes. Cool before cutting.
